Delivery Policy

Cacao takes no responsibility for melted product in remote destinations, however we take all measures to ensure this does not happen. 

Cacao takes great care with the shipping of your order to ensure that it arrives in optimal condition. To ensure that your order does not get to hot, we use a combination of polystyrene boxes in summer combined with ice packs (year round) to keep the temperature from getting to hot inside the box.

If you order on a friday during the warmer months, or if you live in northern Australia, we will sometimes delay shipping on a friday to ensure that your order does not get left in a warm warehouse over the weekend, if your order is going to be delayed, we will notify you by email.

We use Australian Express for all deliveries Australia Wide.  In the event that the parcel cannot be delivered, a card will be left by the driver explaining how pickup can be arranged.

As we use a courier service for all deliveries, we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes.

If you live in Melbourne and place your order before 9am then we will endeavour to get your order out in our morning pickup, which should ensure your order gets delivered the same day. All orders received before 12pm will be shipped the same day, the exception being fridays when we may hold freight for dispatch on Monday to ensure your order is not left in a warm warehouse over the weekend.

We are sorry, but at the moment we do not ship orders internationally.

Free Personalised Gift Card

If you are sending your order to friends, family or corporate clients as a gift, we will happily include a Free Cacao Gift Card with a
personalised message. It’s easy to send to specify your message, simply type in a message during the checkout process on the
shipping information page.

We do not include a printed invoice in shipments, invoices are emailed to you when an order is placed.

Disclaimer

We believe that we have aligned ourselves with excellent delivery partners, but there may be times when, despite their best efforts,
parcels are delayed in the delivery process. We will always endeavor to work with our delivery partners to ensure prompt arrival of
your products.

Returns

Cacao.com.au cannot exchange or refund goods due to the perishable nature of chocolate, so please order carefully.

Goods Damaged on Delivery

Cacao.com.au will replace any order that has reached you in an unacceptable condition. However, we cannot be held responsible
if you are not present when your order is delivered, please ensure you get your order shipped were it can be signed for during
business hours. Please note that if nobody is available to sign for delivery a card will be left allowing you to call our courier and
arrange another delivery time or pickup from a local post office.

Refunds

We can only refund your order if it has not yet shipped, once your order has left our warehouse we can no longer refund your order.
Please note that almost all orders ship same day, so let our customer service know as soon as you are able if you wish to cancel
your order.

Payment Options

All orders must be prepaid. If we are unable to fill an order we will refund you quickly.

Credit Card

Purchasing online with your credit card is the simplest and most convenient way of shopping. Simply fill in your details and we bill
the purchase to your account.
